.This is Carnival’s Mega “Fun Ship” at 110,000 tons.  It is a fantastic floating resort that offers something for everyone.

Dancer fee includes cruise, taxes, port charges, show, hafla, awards party, entertainment, food and dance classes.

 

Pricing is based on 2 persons sharing a cabin
        Airfare, transfers, insurance may be added.  Gratuities are usually $10 per day per person and include room steward and waiters and are paid on board or with final payment.  Shore excursions are available for purchase on line or on board. Insurance may be added at deposit time to cover  pre-existing or at final payment.

7 hours belly dance workshops,

Sunday departs Galveston 4pm

Monday 930am-12pm dance class with Karen with “Useful Combos and Egyptian Pop”

100pm-300pm dance class with Karen “ isolations and making your belly dance”

Tuesday 930am -12pm dance class withKaren “ Choreography”

Tuesday Belly Dance Shop 2pm to 4pm

Wednesday at Sea:   Montego Bay 8:00am to 5:30pm

Evening Stage Shows (every night) clubs, group dinning, deck parties, enjoy ship

Thursday: Grand Cayman 7am to 4pm (snorkel, swim with the stingrays, 7 mile beach)

Friday:  Cozumel 9am to 6pm 

Saturday at sea: Belly Dance Show  to be scheduled only if we have to many dancers wanting to perform on Tuesday show. 

Saturday night dinner.. Awards party

Sunday: Galveston 8am arrival 

Troupes of 3 or more dancers will have a slot in show. First 8 dancers to pay in full will have solo spots. Five or more dancers will be drawn for solo spots after August 10.  If possible we will let everyone that wants to dance, dance even if we have a little longer show or go to an additional show..  Dance slot time will be limited to approx 6 minutes depending on how many want to dance.  You do NOT have to dance in the show.

Karen, from San Antonio has  performed and taught workshops throughout   the United States , and the Caribbean and Brazil. has performed in numerous clubs and restaurants.  Her clear method of breakdown and explanation and use of layered concepts make her workshops a challenge to all levels and an inspiring experience, without making them impossible for the newer dancer.    

SHIREEM is the sponsor of Shimmy at Sea Cruise, and Shimmy by the Sea in Corpus Christi , Texas .    Although she will not be teaching on the cruise, she has taught belly dance and Polynesian dance in Florida , New York , Alaska , Hawaii , California , New Mexico , Arkansas , Oklahoma , Kentucky , Kansas , and Washington , Texas .  She is also a travel agent with Sanborns Travel.

She is director of the Pacific Islanders Polynesian Show and the Mystic dancers and Lotus Dancers.

We prefer the first payment of $25.00 be made with a credit card if at all possible.  Other payments may be made with credit card or check. l

Additional $25.00 per person deposit will be due June 1, 2008 and balance due August 10, 2008.

Deposit is refundable until August 9, 2008. You may call me with your credit card deposit.  You may join the group and pay your deposit after June 1, BUT price* may* change.  As long as there is space you may join the group at whatever fare is available.  To insure your fare please pay (refundable) deposit as soon as possible.

We recommend cancellation insurance! Amount depends upon cabin category. This is usually cancellation for illness and must be purchased with final payment. It is approximately $129.00 per person.  Gratuities may also be prepaid or paid on the ship.   At this time everyone will need a passport for travel.  See www.travel.state.gov
